ART EXHIBITION AND CONSIGNMENT AGREEMENTThis Agreement is entered into between Green Kill, a New York [entity type, e.g., LLC] located at 229 Greenkill Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401 (“Gallery”), and the undersigned Artist (“Artist”).In consideration of the opportunity to exhibit and/or offer for sale the Artist’s artwork and related materials (collectively, the “Artwork”) at the Gallery, the parties agree as follows:

1. Consignment and Fiduciary Relationship
   Delivery of the Artwork to the Gallery establishes a consignor/consignee relationship under New York Arts and Cultural Affairs Law § 12.01. The Gallery acts as the Artist’s agent and fiduciary. The Artwork remains the Artist’s property (held in trust) until sold and full payment is made to the Artist. Sale proceeds are trust funds held for the Artist’s benefit and will not be commingled with Gallery funds or subject to Gallery creditors’ claims.

2. Delivery, Installation, Documentation, and Records
   Upon delivery of the Artwork, the Gallery will immediately install/hang it, photograph it in installed condition, and publish the photographs online and/or on social media. In short: we take care of the production, you bring the performance. Set up smoothly, do a solid soundcheck, listen to the mix, then play your heart out for an hour.

Summary

• Green Kill oversees all production decisions and reserves the right to postpone or cancel events if necessary.

• Load-in is through the front door, with convenient street parking available.

• Performers must arrive at least one hour early and have all equipment ready by:

  • 6:15 PM for a 7 PM show

  • 7:15 PM for an 8 PM show

• Do not remove equipment until after your performance.

• A brief sound sample will be provided before showtime.

• Merchandise tables are available for selling your work.

• Performers must carry their own equipment insurance.

Stage size: 16’ x 7’, with full PA system, HD cameras, stage lighting, alternative backdrops, green screen, and TouchDesigner options.

Livestream Files

• Video and audio files may be shared at Green Kill’s discretion.

• Many performers have successfully used these recordings for promotional purposes on YouTube and other platforms.

• Please bring a thumb drive or use Google Drive for file transfers.

• By participating, you authorize Green Kill to edit and share portions of your performance on YouTube and Substack.

Promotion

• Events are promoted through Substack, Facebook, and email newsletters (1,800+ subscribers).

• A promotional link will be sent to you—please share it widely.

• Performers must provide proof of social media promotion. Send links to both your active social profiles and your event posts.

• Events lacking adequate promotion may be subject to cancellation.

Compensation and Revenue Split

• Over $100 in gross sales: Split equally among all performers, the venue, and the sound engineer after ticket vendor fees.

  • Example:

    • One performer → 3-way split

    • Two performers → 4-way split

    • Three performers → 5-way split

• Under $100: Split three ways (performers/act, venue, sound engineer).

• Under $40: No payout.

Payments are made via PayPal, Venmo, or check. You may specify how payouts are divided.

Friday Night at Green Kill: Showcase Your Art!

Starting March 2026, Green Kill is excited to launch Friday Night at Green Kill, a vibrant new salon-like monthly exhibition program for visual artists to share their work and connect with the arts community .

Exhibition events are held twice a month, changing each month, on the first and third Fridays from 7 to 10 pm. Here is a link to the exhibition schedule for 2026. There is also a general performance calendar, which identifies the Friday at Night at Green Kill schedule here.

Are you a visual artist? Here’s how to participate:

1. Select Your Artwork
   Choose one two-dimensional piece (painting, print, or photograph) no larger than 30 inches wide by 60 inches tall. Ensure your artwork has a wire or loops on the back for easy hanging on Green Kill’s modular wall system.

   • A high-resolution image of your artwork alone with title, media and price, date and size.

   • A brief artist statement (to be featured in a personalized announcement on Green Kill’s Substack)

   • A note requesting to participate

3. We’ll respond promptly with space approval, availability, and a liability waiver releasing Green Kill from responsibility for any damage to your artwork.

4. Get Promoted
   Approved artwork will be showcased on Green Kill’s website greenkill.substack.com, added to the Calendar of Exhibitors, and displayed during the first and third Friday events of the month, featuring up to 15 artists per event. Green Kill’s programs depend on the initiative and support of participating artists to help spread the word. Please feel free to share these promotional materials across any platforms or media you use to promote your art.

5. Drop Off Your Work
   Bring your piece to 229 Greenkill Avenue, Kingston, NY, on the Friday afternoon of the first Friday of the month, between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Our team will handle the installation.

6. Join the Event
   Friday Night at Green Kill happens from 7 to 10 PM., first and third Fridays. list of exhibitors schedule is here and the general exhibition schedule is here. Connect with fellow artists and the community, hop on the open mic to share your poetry, talk about your work, or just chat with others. We’ll have a table set up with bowls, napkins, and cups, so feel free to bring snacks or drinks to share.

7. Pick Up Your Artwork
   Retrieve your piece on the next Friday Night at Green Kill event, between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. If space is unavailable for your preferred date, we’ll notify you of the next available exhibition.

Additional Details

• No participation fee!

• You may offer your artwork for sale (up to $2,000). Green Kill retains a 30% commission on all sales, which must be processed through the gallery. Artists who bypass the gallery for sales will not be invited to exhibit again.
