In 2026 GreenKill will introduce a new exhibition program, "Friday Night at Green Kill".

Friday Night at Green Kill: Showcase Your Art!

Starting March 2026, Green Kill is excited to launch Friday Night at Green Kill, a vibrant new salon-like monthly exhibition program for visual artists to share their work and connect with the arts community .

Exhibition events are held twice a month, changing each month, on the first and third Fridays from 7 to 10 pm. Here is a link to the exhibition schedule for 2026. There is also a general performance calendar, which identifies the Friday at Night at Green Kill schedule here.

Are you a visual artist? Here’s how to participate:

1. Select Your Artwork
   Choose one two-dimensional piece (painting, print, or photograph) no larger than 30 inches wide by 60 inches tall. Ensure your artwork has a wire or loops on the back for easy hanging on Green Kill’s modular wall system.

2. Submit Your Application

   

3. Email 229greenkill@greenkill.org (mailto:229greenkill@greenkill.org) with:

   • A high-resolution image of your artwork alone with title, media and price, date and size.

   • A brief artist statement (to be featured in a personalized announcement on Green Kill’s Substack)

   • A note requesting to participate

3. We’ll respond promptly with space approval, availability, and a liability waiver releasing Green Kill from responsibility for any damage to your artwork.

4. Get Promoted
   Approved artwork will be showcased on Green Kill’s website greenkill.substack.com, added to the Calendar of Exhibitors, and displayed during the first and third Friday events of the month, featuring up to 15 artists per event. Green Kill’s programs depend on the initiative and support of participating artists to help spread the word. Please feel free to share these promotional materials across any platforms or media you use to promote your art.

5. Drop Off Your Work
   Bring your piece to 229 Greenkill Avenue, Kingston, NY, on the Friday afternoon of the first Friday of the month, between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Our team will handle the installation.

6. Join the Event
   Friday Night at Green Kill happens from 7 to 10 PM., first and third Fridays. list of exhibitors schedule is here and the general exhibition schedule is here. Connect with fellow artists and the community, hop on the open mic to share your poetry, talk about your work, or just chat with others. We’ll have a table set up with bowls, napkins, and cups, so feel free to bring snacks or drinks to share.

7. Pick Up Your Artwork
   Retrieve your piece on the next Friday Night at Green Kill event, between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. If space is unavailable for your preferred date, we’ll notify you of the next available exhibition.

Additional Details

• No participation fee!

• You may offer your artwork for sale (up to $2,000). Green Kill retains a 30% commission on all sales, which must be processed through the gallery. Artists who bypass the gallery for sales will not be invited to exhibit again.
