2024 Program Changes at Green Kill
Green Kill will undergo some modest schedule and decorative change in 2023.
Greetings art lovers. Green Kill has been a peer to peer, mixed-use art space since March of 2016, presenting visual artists, local, national and international (now two month exhibitions) and performance programs including poetry programs such as CAPS and White Noise, one act plays, nights of singer-songwriters, world music, jazz, jazzoetry, noise, and ambient music.
In 2024 a few updates will be introduced.
New New Gallery Hours
Gallery hours will be 1-6 PM Saturday and Sunday. There will be no performances on those two days. In this way there are two dedicated days for viewing the art exhibitions. Performances will take place Tuesday thorugh Friday.
New Performance Hours
Performance hours are either 7 to 8 or 8 to 9 PM, Tuesday through Friday.
All performances will be livestream/live audience broadcasts on the Green Kill Sessions YouTube channel. If you are a performer who would like to schedule and event, please keep this new schedule in mind.
New Outside Look
In 2023 the building was repainted green and new blue gutters were installed. In 2024 to the right of the the gallery entrance a Green Kill sign will be painted. Also in 2024, new flower boxes will be installed below both front windows, and during gallery hours, weather permitting, nice white folding chairs and tables will be spread around on the sidewalk.
Performance Lighting
A hanging system will be installed to make it easier precise lighting adjustments.
