A Stick & A Box; Evocative Jazz, Exotic Lounge
This eccentric jazz duo takes the very best in classic jazz and originals, and twists and bends them into what they call ‘jazz unstandards’. In this ‘duo virtuosi’, nothing is sacred.....improv is rampant...lyrics are changed at will...notes and chords are bent and perverted...familiar languages are obliterated....harmonies are sweet and sour perfection, and yet, serious, sophisticated and uncompromising in execution. The is one in-tune, out-of-tune, offbeat outfit.
Studio Stu
Studio Stu, with his state-of-the-art Studivarious, single string bass, is a one string wonder, combining a traditional folk instrument and classic jazz form. He is fearless in delivery and willing to navigate uncharted paths through the improvisational wilderness, yet, serious, sophisticated and uncompromising in execution.
Brian Melick
Brian Melick is a featured artist on over 450 commercially recorded works and has been produced by major as well as independent record companies. His drumming and percussion activities have included recording and performing along with several independent, as well as major, artists and producers.
