On Sunday, July 24 at 8 PM, at Green Kill, Station Hill Press presents a Green Kill livestream and live-audience reading by Laynie Browne (Translation of the Lilies Back into Lists) and George Quasha (Waking From Myself). Expect to wake and sway like the flowers at the back of every word you never left unspoken—to hear them all at once, at last. Tickets are 5 dollars.

Livestream
Livestream tickets are for viewing the livestream performance online on personal devices. Livestream ticket holders will also receive a link to the video of the performance on YouTube for watching later.
Live audience
Audience members who wish to attend a performance in-person will reserve a ticket to attend the livestream event.
In addition, in-person audience members will also receive a livestream link which they can watch later.
This audience is limited to 30.
Because COVID is still a potential hazard guests attending the livestream in person must be masked and vaccinated.
Laynie Browne
Laynie Browne's recent books include a collection poems, Translation of the Lilies Back into Lists (Wave Books 2022) and the anthology A Forest on Many Stems: Essays on The Poet’s Novel (Nightboat, 2021). Forthcoming books include Letters Inscribed in Snow (Tinderbox, 2022) and Apprentice to a Breathing Hand (Omnidawn, 2025). Honors include a Pew Fellowship, the National Poetry Series Award and the Contemporary Poetry Series Award. She teaches and coordinates the MOOC Modern Poetry at University of Pennsylvania.
George Quasha
Poet/artist George Quasha is the author of over twenty books, including most recently in the invented genre “preverbs,” Not Even Rabbits Go Down This Hole (preverbs) (2021) and Waking from Myself (preverbs) (2022). His books on poetry and art include Poetry in Principle (2019), Axial Stones: An Art of Precarious Balance (2006), and An Art of Limina: Gary Hill’s Works & Writings (2009). A Guggenheim Fellow, an NEA Fellow, as well as this year’s recipient of the “T” Space Annual Poetry Award, his sculpture, drawing and video art have been exhibited in multiple galleries and museums. Editor of several anthologies, including with Jerome Rothenberg, America a Prophecy: A new Reading of American Poetry from Pre-Columbian times to the Present and The Station Hill Blanchot Reader (1999). With artist Susan Quasha he is co-publisher of Station Hill Press in Barrytown, NY.
