Antonin Fajt
Antonin Fajt's music uses longer form, iterative melodies & minimalist rhythmic cycles. It is partly steeped in the tradition of free improvisation and jazz, and partly an explorative sound world building. He plays keyboard & electronics in the current live set. Antonin received his BA in music from Bard College in 2014, and is currently working towards his PhD in Integrative Composition, Improvisation & Technology at the University of California, Irvine.
Matt Norman (Matt Norman Big Band)
Matt Norman is a musician and recording artist from Petaluma, CA. He studied drumming in the context of jazz throughout his formal education, while experimenting with recording until the present. While swerving in and out of research associate and technician jobs, he has worked on a range of projects, spearheading the group Lily and Horn Horse, with an increasing focus on recording. The working set is an outlet for percussion performance and recording developments and serves to unify and steer the respective practices in the direction of a jazz soundtrack.
