New Noise Continuum
New Noise Continuum is a 5-piece improvisational band whose members have over 40 years of experience in the New York City underground live music scene, from Grey Area studios to CBGB's to the Red Door, which the band called home under the tutelage of music legend Giorgio Gomelsky, to a monthly residency at Arlene's Grocery and dates across Lower Manhattan.
After a decade-long hiatus, New Noise Continuum is back -- creating live-action musical experiences mixed with visual presentations to take audiences on a unique multimedia journey, and releasing recordings made recently at the Artfarm in Accord, NY. Influenced by punk, rock, jazz, eastern, experimental, and electronic noise grooves, all performances are entirely composed and improvised on stage -- an exciting experience for everyone in the room, where no two shows are ever alike.
