Robert Tomlinson
The series, Disorderly Conduct, is made with ink on silver gelatin prints. Each print is unique. They were created in the Todd Watts darkroom while on residency in Monson, ME., and finished in my Upstate NY studio. They are inspired by the last paintings of Dubuffet and my grandson’s energetic drawings.
This series is part of my ongoing interest in expanding the idea of what a photograph can be… making images not focused on documentation but on personal expression and using an unexpected combination of materials/ mediums.
