It’s time to gather material for ”The Revue, Volume 3.” Volume one can be viewed here and Volume 2 can be reviewed here.
Writers, visual artists, and performers can create short videos, no more than 8 minutes using their own cell phones, tablets or computers. our computers. Artists can present something odd or masterfully done using the video and audio resources available to them.
These clips will be presented in a one hour livestream event.
Your videos can be sent to Green Kill using WeTransfer if they are less then two megs or google drive if they are less than ten megs.
Simply send separately to 229greenkill@greenkill.org or include a short statement with a photo for promotion and make sure to introdue yourself in the videos.
Please use only original material. Any clips with copyrighted or trademarkedmaterial with be rejected.
Green Kill will assemble these clips in to half-hour long live stream variety show, “Revue.” The broadcasts will grow in frequency depending according to the submission rate.
There will be a request for a donation of at least a dollar through eventbrite to have access to the YouTube livestream link. Currently the money is a donation to Greeb Iill but if receipts exceet 100 dollaresthe money will be split up with one part going to each of the participants of each revue and one part for Green Kill.
The money will be sent via PayPal or Venmo about a week after the performance.
What you need to do:
1) Prepare a clip no more than fifteen minutes
2) Send clip by google drive or wetransfer
3) Send short statement for pr to 229greenkill@greenkill.org and include a paypal or venmo address so you can receive your share of the proceeds from the event.
The ongoing nature of this revue will create curiosity. And the collective effort with help the revue to reach a wider audience and the audience receives an introduction to artists and performers from across the specturm.
Green Kill is a peer to peer presentation space for artists. The objective is to find ways to raise awareness and create opportunities for the arts community.
