Villagers and Vagabonds
Villagers and Vagabonds is a (more or less) Monthly series featuring improvised music live in-person as well as live-streamed from the Green Kill Gallery, 229 Greenkill Ave, Kingston, NY.
The intent of the Villagers and Vagabonds series is to have little to no preconceived notions of what exactly will happen - no ‘set-list’ if you will.
We Come From Far Away
We Come from Far Away is an improvisational duo project featuring Dane Johnson (Kingston, NY) and Rick Warren (Hudson, NY).
Rick and Dane each employ a range of electronic effects to meld, mold and shape the sounds which they evoke from their guitars into immersive soundscapes which draw you into a holographic ocean as the textures morph and weave, diverge and reconverge in an ever changing supernova of sound.
