For free, you will receive by email announcements for all upcoming events and you will have access to all the previous posts which are all behind the paywall shortly after the events take place. If those posts are for livestream events, the videos for the performances are added. Most importantly your subscription helps pay Green Kill’s bills. About Green Kill

David Schell, a life-long artist, with his partner Yuriko Sasamoto, moved to Kingston, New York with a dream: to bring a new kind of arts space to the Hudson Valley. Green Kill is exactly that.

Green Kill offers two programs. The livestream/live audience program can be read about here and the Exhibition program can be read about here.

Welcome to Green Kill, a multi-use space for writers, performers, and visual artists located at 229 Greenkill Avenue, Kingston, New York. Phone is 347-689-2323. Email address is 229greenkill@greenkill.org. Wen address is greenkill.substack.com. YouTube channel is Greenkill Sessions.

Green Kill serves, outsider and established artists with a life-long dedication to their work, and an original vision.

Green Kill has a unique, artist driven, peer-to-peer approach to growth. Peer-to-peer is the voluntary willingness of artists to refer and recommend other artists to participate in Green Kill. The reward for the Green Kill community and each participating artist are the opportunities generated through the growth of Green Kill’s reputation as a destination for diverse, quality art.

This is a new approach to supporting the arts, an inclusive model made possible through the partnership of Green Kill, LLC and a national fiscal sponsor for the arts, Fractured Atlas.*

Green Kill’s diversity is demonstrated throughout its programs, including  monthly art exhibitions, and a broad range of live streaming events which may be viewed here.

Before reaching out for community support, Green Kill needed to establish a proof-of-concept. If you have attended any of our events or have visited our website, greenkill.org, then you know what we have accomplished in just three short years. Now Green Kill needs your help to bring it to the next stage in its evolution. A vibrant art scene is emblematic of a thriving community. Please support us.

About the logo. It’s a hypno swirl. We live in a work in which propaganda techniques, are increasingly more sophisticated. It’s a reminder to ask myself if the if someone else’s garden is growing in your head.
